MERISTEM Mg-L corrects magnesium deficiency, thus preventing the losses in yield and increased susceptibility to disease caused by this deficiency. Magnesium is a major constituent of chlorophyll molecules, and therefore is actively involved in photosynthesis. It is also a cofactor in various enzymatic reactions which result in the creation of ATP, the source of energy for the plant.<\/p>\n

MERISTEM Mg-L provides magnesium in the form of a liquid solution of magnesium nitrate, which can be efficiently applied either to the leaves or to the roots. Both the magnesium and the nitrogen content of the solution are immediately assimilated by the plant. The solution is free of chlorides and sulphates, and so does not cause any problems of salinity.<\/p>\n
