ORTIMER is a dispersible concentrate (DC) based on aqueous extract of Urtica spp. Due to its natural origin and method of production, the product is a BASIC SUBSTANCE according to R (EC) 1107\/2009. Nettle extract as a basic substance is used in plant protection as an insecticide, acaricide and fungicide, according to the conditions of use of the report SANTE\/11809\/2016 (appendices I and II).<\/p>\n

As a pest control tool, its use has a repellent and shock effect against aphids and mites, and the silicon content of the extract also gives it a preventive effect against fungi.<\/p>\n

Nettle extract leaves no residues on the crop, making ORTIMER a suitable tool for use in the early stages of aphid\/mite attacks, thus limiting treatments with chemical plant protection products and avoiding the appearance of resistance.<\/p>\n

ORTIMER can be used in Organic Production in accordance with EU Regulation 2018\/848, subsequent amendments, and extensions.<\/p>\n
